Plants began to grow and waving in the flow
produced the oxygen that other life needs
and as the years went by all the world beneath the sky
had pure fresh air for all life to breathe

And then the world was full of all kinds of living breathing things
in every nook and cranny was life
slithering, crawling and running about
feeling good to be alive
and the sun shone down and the rain did fall
life multiplied a thousand fold
adapting, changing to exist
in the blazing heat or in the cold

Countless years ago, al started growing
way down below in the sea
you’d better believe that all the air we breathe
is made by plants and will always be

And then the world was full of all kinds of living breathing things
etc. etc.
